GCET Application Form 2019 is likely to release in the month of March 2019. The Directorate of Technical Education, Goa conducts entrance exam for admission in engineering, pharmacy, medical and nursing courses etc. in the State of Goa. GCET Application Form 2019: How to Apply?

First of all, everyone who is willing to appear in the GCET 2019 exam, should verify their eligibility from the prescribed notification and then apply. Read the following information in order to make GCET application 2019:

  • The aspirant must visit the official website to download the application form.
  • The application form will be available most probably in the month of March 2019.
  • After downloading the form, take printout of the form in A4 size paper.
  • Candidates need to fill the application form in own handwriting.
  • All the entries in the application form should be true and as per the instructions available in the information bulletin.
  • Affix your recent passport size photograph in the space provided in the application form.
  • Now send the duly filled in application form along with self-attested copies of required documents to the DTE, Goa.
  • Application received after due date will not be considered, hence, apply before due date.

Application Fee

The GCET application fee is Rs.1800/-. Applicants can make payment of the application fee through demand draft drawn in favour of “Directorate of Technical Education” payable at Panaji from any scheduled commercial bank. The candidates need to submit the application along with demand draft at the specified centres. You must know that the application fee is non-refundable.

GCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility requirements prescribed for the exam before making an application. Check the eligibility requirements as mentioned below:

Nationality

  • Applicants must be an Indian citizen.
  • NRI having a genuine passport and OCI/PIO card holders can also apply.

Academic Qualification

  • Engineering courses: 12th passed or any equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and English subject along with one additional subject among Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology/Chemistry. Candidate should obtain minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam.
  • Bachelor of Architecture: 10+2 or equivalent exam with mathematics subject with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
  • BHMS & AHS: 12th class or equivalent exam passed with Chemistry, Biology English and Mathematics subject with minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).
  • B. Pharma: Candidate must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics and English and should have one additional subject in Computer Science/Maths/Biotechnology/Biology.

Age Criteria

  • Candidate should attain minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year for medical courses including Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Nursing etc. courses.
  • There is no age limit specified for engineering, pharmacy and architecture courses.

  • Read the information brochure thoroughly and also check the information regarding application form and eligibility criteria.
  • Ensure your eligibility before making the application form.
  • Download application form from the website by clicking on the concerned link.
  • Keep ready all the documents such as 10th Certificate, 12th Certificate, domicile, category certificate (if applicable) etc. for ready reference.
  • Fill the application form and provide the details such as name, DOB, correspondent address, academic qualification, subject code, exam centre code and other required information.
  • Enter demand draft details at the space provided in the application form carefully.
  • Now paste your recent passport size photograph in the space provided.
