Application Fee
The candidates have to pay the requisite application fee for making DET Odisha 2022 application form. Fee can be paid online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-challan at IDBI/AXIX Bank Branch. The application fee is non-refundable hence, candidates are advised to be careful while filling up the application form and also ensure their eligibility. The fee details are as under:

Odisha DET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling up the DET Odisha 2022 application form, the candidates must satisfy themselves in respect of the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority concerned. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
For admission of 1st Semester Diploma in Engineering/Technology
- The candidates must have passed the HSC examination or 10th examination or any examination declared equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate.
- They must have secured 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination in Science, Mathematics, & English.
- The minimum age criterion is 14 years for first-year diploma courses in engineering except mining and drilling.
- No upper age limit is notified for all courses.
For Admission to 3rd Semester under Lateral Entry Scheme in Diploma in Engineering/Technology
- The candidates who are looking for admission in the diploma courses lateral entry in Engineering/Technology must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with PCM subjects from the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.
- Candidates must have passed 2 years of ITI in Engineering Trade along with passed in HSC examination.
- Must have passed 10th standard examination conducted or declared equivalent by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha with at least 30% marks in each subject.
For admission in the First Semester of Film & TV Courses (Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering/ Film & Video Editing)
- For Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering, the candidates must have passed 10+2 Science from any State Board / ICSE/ CBSE with minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
- For Film & Video Editing course, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in any discipline from any State Board with minimum of 35% marks in aggregate.
- The age limit prescribed for this course is 16 to 28 years as of 01.06.2022.
- 3 years of age relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
For Admission in 1st Year Diploma Courses- Non-Engineering
- Modern Office Management: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination in any stream recognized by CHSE, Odisha.
- Pharmacy: For admission in the Pharmacy course, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination.
- The candidate must obtain at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics as approved and obtained at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
- HM&CT: Must have passed 10+2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination in any stream recognized by CHSE, Odisha.
- The candidate must obtain at least 35% marks in aggregate securing at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
- There is no upper age limit is applicable for any course. However, the minimum age limit is 16 years.
Odisha DET Result 2022
The admissions for DET Odisha 2022 will be made on the basis of the merit list. The concerned authority will prepare the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and will publish the same on the official website i.e. www.dtetorissa.gov.in. The candidate can check their merit online and can also download the rank card. The rank/merit list will be published by the competent authority in the second week of June 2022.
Odisha Polytechnic 2022 Counselling
The meritorious candidates will be called for counselling on the scheduled date and time in the month of June/July 2022. In this process, the educational documents of the candidates will be verified. Candidates should keep ready all the educational documents for verification purposes during counselling. For participation in the counselling, Rs. 200/- will be charged from the candidate as a counselling fee. Candidates must know that he/she has to report for counselling in-person otherwise candidature will be cancelled.
Participating in the counselling process is mandatory for taking admission in the desired course. Competent authority after verifying the documents will take the final call on admission. The applicants should pay the admission fee in the college for confirming the seat.
