Delhi TET Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates can check eligibility criteria details with respect to Delhi TET 2022 exam:
Nationality:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India and a resident of Delhi.
Qualification:
For Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Candidates with the following qualification are eligible:
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
- Senior Secondary with minimum 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE or
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Candidates with the following qualification are eligible:
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
- Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passed/ appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE or
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).
Delhi TET 2022 Application Form
The candidates will be able to fill their Delhi TET application form through online mode. Candidates can obtain the application form by visiting the official website of the exam conducting authority.
- The applicants must have a functional e-mail ID and mobile number for registration.
- In the application form, the candidates will have to submit their personal details, qualification details, contact details, etc.
- Candidates’ photograph and signature should also be uploaded in the application form in scanned format.
- Make sure that no field remains blank as the incomplete form will be rejected.
- After the details are entered as required, the candidates can submit the form along with the prescribed application fee.
- The candidates should keep a photocopy of the filled-in application form along with them for future reference.

Admit Card
- The successfully registered candidates can download Admit Card from the official website.
- In case of any discrepancy in the admit card the candidate should immediately contact the relevant authority.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
- Details of the exam center will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.
Delhi TET Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for Delhi TET 2022 is given below:
- Mode of exam: It is an offline exam i.e. pen and paper-based test.
- Exam duration: The duration of the test will be 2:30 hours.
- The number of questions: There will be a total of 150 questions in MCQs.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark for each right answer will be awarded.

Delhi TET Result
- The result of the eligibility test will be declared by the authorities online mode.
- Candidates who clear the exam will be eligible to obtain the Certificate of Eligibility subject to fulfilment of other important criteria.
- Eligibility and documents of the applicants will be verified before offering them the qualifying certificate.
- The validity of the Delhi TET qualifying certificate will be seven years from the date of declaration of the result.
- Candidates should take a printout of the result for future reference.
