Delhi Polytechnic 2021: Notification Released

  • The competent authority has released the notification for Delhi Polytechnic 2021 on its official website.
  • The registration process Delhi CET 2021 has been started online from 6th July 2021.

  • Candidates fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria for the concerned course, should submit Delhi Polytechnic application form before the due date.
  • Remember, one can submit Delhi CET application form through online mode only.
  • The application form can be submitted within the prescribed schedule.
  • Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID and a mobile number for registration.
  • The online link will be available from the notified date till the last date of submission of application form.
  • Candidates need to fill all the details carefully in the application form and should upload the scanned photograph and signature.

Application Fee

The applicants must pay the requisite application fee of Rs.400/- (including bank charges) for completing the application form. Delhi CET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should have completed 10th standard or equivalent exam with minimum 35% marks from a recognized board/institute.
  • He/she should have Science, Mathematics and English subjects in the qualifying exam and must have passed in each subject.
Test-2

Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice-English and (ii) Certification course of one-year duration in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services, Finance Executive in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC).

  • Candidates who have complete 12th standard or equivalent exam with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) in the best three subjects including English can apply.
  • English subject is Mandatory for Modern Office Practice (English).
Test-3 Diploma course in Modern Office Practice-Hindi
  • The students must have completed 12th standard or its equivalent exam from a recognized board/institute with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) aggregate in the best three subjects including Hindi/Sanskrit subject.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit is mandatory for Modern Office Practice (Hindi).
Test-4 (i) Diploma course in Pharmacy and (ii) Certification course of one-year duration in Software Testing Assistant in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC).
  • The students should have completed 12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects.
  • He/she should have scored at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) aggregate in the qualifying exam.
Test-5 Lateral entry against 10% supernumerary seats in analogous diploma courses
  • The applicant must have completed 12th standard with Vocational Engineering Stream scoring at 60% marks aggregate in best 5 subjects from a recognized board.

OR

  • Completed 10th or equivalent exam from CBSE along with two years ITI programme (Engg.) from ITIs/ITCs with at least 60% marks.

Exam Pattern

The applicants should be aware of the examination scheme of the Delhi CET 2021 exam in order to qualify the entrance test. Check the following information with regard to Delhi CET exam pattern below:

  • Exam Mode: Delhi CET 2021 will be held through offline mode which consists of OMR Sheet, Question Booklet.
  • Test Duration: The exam duration will be of 2 hours & 30 minutes.
  • Total Questions: The test paper will consist of 150 objective type questions where each question will have four choices. Candidates need to choose the correct one.
  • Answering Mode: Candidates have to mark the answer in the OMR sheet using the black ball-point pen.
  • Test Language: Question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. However, the Test 2 & Test 3 will be available in English and Hindi respectively.
  • Marking Scheme: Four marks will be granted for every correct response.
  • Negative Marking: Applicable. One mark will be deduced for each wrong attempt.
  • Test Centres: All the exam centre will be in Delhi. Any request for change of exam centre will not be entertained.

Delhi Polytechnic Exam Syllabus

  • Test 1: Question paper will contain the questions based on Physics, Mathematics, Biology & English of 9th & 10th standard.
  • Test 2: General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical ability and English comprehension & Grammar of 12th standard.
  • Test 3: There will be questions based on Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical Ability and Hindi Comprehension including grammar in this paper.
  • Test 4: It will contain questions from 11th & 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.
  • Test 5: Questions will be asked from 10th, 11th & 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Delhi CET Admit card

The candidates will get admit card before appearing in the entrance test. The competent authority will issue admit card to the eligible candidates through online mode. It is expected that the admit card or hall ticket will be issued in the 1st week of August 2021. You can download your admit card from the official website. There is no other way to obtain the admit card.

Generally, the admit card contains the name of the candidate, roll number, exam date, venue of the test and address etc. After downloading the admit card, candidates must take the printout of the same for further reference. Candidates are recommended to carry Delhi CET admit card on the day of exam otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

Delhi Polytechnic 2021 Result

  • The result of the Delhi CET 2021 will be announced in the month of August 2021 through online mode.

Delhi Polytechnic 2021 Counselling

The shortlisted candidates on the basis of written exam will be invited to attend the counselling process. Delhi Polytechnic counselling 2021 will be organized through online mode. Eligible candidates have to register through online mode within the specified time limit.

Delhi Polytechnic 2021 counselling is expected to start from last week of August 2021.
