CMAT Exam Pattern 2019-Aspirants who are looking forward to appear in the upcoming CMAT exam should be conversant with the exam pattern and exam scheme. Important Highlights of CMAT Exam Pattern 2019

  • CMAT is a computer-based admission test for PG management programmes offered by AICTE approved institutes.
  • It is a single session paper comprises four subject section as General Awareness, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Language Comprehension.
  • Each section will consist of 25 number of questions carrying 04 marks each.
  • Questions will be objective type in nature having four options where only 1 answer will be correct.
  • Negative marking is applicable in the CMAT exam. Four marks will be awarded for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong attempt.
  • The duration of the entrance test will be 180 minutes i.e. 3.00 hour.

CMAT Preparation Tips

Candidates are suggested to make a proper strategy for covering all CMAT syllabus with better understanding. To do so one need to follow the important tips as mentioned below:

  • Divided topic based on their difficulty and importance and practice hard.
  • Make note of important topics and revise them time to time.
  • Follow a strict time-table and study regularly.
  • At the exam venue, each candidate will be given a computer and a plain paper for rough work.
  • Leave the rough paper at your desk after the test.
  • During the exam, no break will be given in between.
