CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019: The aspirants must fulfil the eligibility requirements for appearing in the CMAT exam. It is pertinent to mention here that from the year 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CMAT exam instead of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). After qualifying the CMAT exam, candidates can get admission in management programme. CMAT 2019 Examination Dates

The National Testing Agency has released the official dates for CMAT 2019 exam. Interested candidates can check the official examination schedule in the table below. We recommended candidates to start preparation from now keeping in mind the following dates:

Interested candidates must fulfil the CMAT eligibility criteria laid down by the competent authority. Must ensure eligibility before submit CMAT application form. There are management courses such as MBA (Master in Business Administration), PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) and PGCM (Post Graduation Course in Management) in which a candidate can take admission based on CMAT score. The eligibility criteria for these courses are as under:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Candidates should have a Bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized university/Institute.
  • They should have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
  • Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
Post-Graduation Course in Management (PGCM)
  • A candidate having three years duration Graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

Note: Candidates who are pursuing final year/semester of Graduation degree can also apply CMAT 2019 provided that their result should be declared before commencement of academic session 2019-20.

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • There is no age limit for CMAT exam.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of Graduation are eligible to make an application.
  • Candidate should apply only after verifying eligibility criteria.
  • If candidate found ineligible at any stage, the exam conducting authority shall cancel his/her candidature.
