Eligibility for UG Law Courses

  • Applicants must have completed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent exam from a recognized Board/Institute.
  • They should have scored 45% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam in case of General/OBC/Specially abled candidates.
  • Reserved category (SC/ST) candidates should have scored 40% marks only.
  • Candidate’s age should not exceed 20 years as on 1st July 2020 in case UR/NRIs/NRI sponsored categories and 22 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/SAP (Specially Abled Persons) category candidates.

Eligibility for PG Law Courses

  • Candidates must possess a LLB degree or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
  • He/she must obtain minimum 55% marks aggregate in case of General/OBC/Specially abled candidates.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to score 50% marks only in the qualifying exam.
  • There is no upper age limit fixed for CLAT 2020.

NOTE: Candidates appearing in the final year/semester of qualifying exam are eligible to appear in CLAT 2020 in case of both UG and PG courses subject to condition that their result should be declared before commencement of admission in 2020-21 session.
