BHU LLB 2022: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts an entrance exam for admission in its all UG and PG courses. The University will organize two separate examinations for UG and PG courses including law courses. BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) for admission in UG courses and BHU PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test) for PG courses. The BHU Law Entrance exam will be held in the month of April 2022. BHU Law Exam Dates 2022

Candidates seeking admission in the LLB degree course offered by BHU should go through the following BHU LLB 2022 schedule. Presently, all the dates mentioned here are tentative in nature. Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates seeking admission LLB programme of BHU, are advised here that before applying, you need to check the eligibility criteria first. Ensure your eligibility as per the criteria prescribed. Check the following eligibility criteria in respect of the BHU LLB 2022 exam.

For LL. B. (Hons.)(Bachelor of Law)

  • The candidate should possess a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
  • He/she should have obtained at least 50% in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • The age of the candidate should not exceed 30 years as of 1st July 2022.
  • The duration of this course will be 3 years.

For B.A. LL.B (Hons)

  • Candidates should have completed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • Those who are pursuing 10+2 will also be eligible subject to the submission of certificates when asked.
  • Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam (45% for OBCs and 40% for SC/ST applicants).
  • The age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years as of 1st July 2022.
  • The duration of this course will be 5 years.

Note: As per the directions of the Bar Council of India, candidates who completed their 10+2 or graduated from distance learning through open universities, will not be eligible.

BHU LLB 2022 Application Form

The candidates need to check the following guidelines before applying for BHU LLB 2022. Check instructions below to make BHU LLB Application Form 2022:

  • The application form will be available online at the official portal of the BHU.
  • Candidates can fill the application form probably in the month of January 2022.
  • All the details in the application form should be filled carefully.
  • The candidate should own an e-mail ID and mobile number.
  • In order to complete the registration process for BHU LLB 2022, candidates have to pay the requisite application fee.
  • Check all the details before submitting the form.
  • Submit the application form and take at least one printout for future reference.

Application Fee

  • Candidates belonging to the unreserved category are required to pay Rs.500/- as an application fee.
  • Reserved category candidates are required to pay Rs.250/- as an application fee.
  • Candidates can make payment of the application fee via Net Banking and Debit/Credit Card.

BHU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern

  • The entrance exam will be held in offline mode i.e. pen and paper-based exam.
  • The question paper will consist of 150 objective type questions.
  • Each question will carry 3 marks.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2.00 hours.
  • Question Paper will be in two sets i.e. Hindi or English. Candidates should ask either for the English set or Hindi set at their convenience.

BHU Law Exam Syllabus

  • Candidates are required to check the syllabus from official notification and accordingly start preparation for BHU LLB 2022.
  • Syllabus for LL. B. (Hons.) will include General Awareness and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Mental Ability.
  • Similarly, the syllabus for B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) will include General Studies, Aptitude Test, Current Affairs and General Knowledge about Sports.

Admit Card

  • The University will issue admit card to the eligible candidates.
  • Candidates can avail admit card from the official website of the University probably one or two weeks before the exam.
  • University will not send the hard copy of the admit card via post.
  • Admit card will contain the information regarding the venue of the exam centre, exam date and duration of exam etc.
  • Must bring admit card on the crucial date of examination otherwise, the authority will not allow entering in the exam centre.

BHU LLB 2022 Result Announcement

  • The result of the BHU LLB 2022 exam will be announced most probably in the month of June 2022.
  • The University will upload the result on the official website.
  • Candidate can check their result using roll number or registration number.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam.
  • The merit list will be prepared accordingly.

BHU LLB Counselling 2022

On the basis of result, candidates who will secure their name on the merit list will be called to attend the counselling process. Final admission will depend on entrance exam result, verification of documents etc.

The Admission Committee will assess candidates’ eligibility before allotting the seat. Candidates must keep all the original documents ready for verification purposes.
