Eligibility Criteria
All the applicants must fulfil the minimum basic eligibility requirements to appear in the Assam TET 2022 exam. The candidates can check here eligibility criteria details for the Assam TET exam below:
- The applicant must belong to the State of Assam.
- He/she should possess minimum academic qualification as given below:
Qualification for Lower Primary TET (Class I to V)
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 4-year graduation degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma programme in Education (Special Education)
OR
Bachelor degree with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. Programme completed from a recognized college/institution shall be considered for class 1 to 5th teacher, provided the person will have to go through a compulsory bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE within two years duration of an appointment as a primary teacher.
Qualification for Upper Primary TET (Class VI to VIII)
Bachelor degree and two-year diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. Programme
OR
Senior Secondary or it’s equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 4-year B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed.
OR
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and one-year B.Ed. Programme (Special Education)
Note: One who is pursuing any of teacher education courses recognized by NCTE as specified in the NCTE guidelines date 11th February 2011.
Assam TET 2022 Application Form
The eligible candidates should read all the information pertaining to the Assam TET application form. Check instructions for submitting the application form. Go through the following guidelines:
- The eligible candidates can submit the Assam TET application form via online mode on the official website.
- Visit the official website of the concerned authority and download the Assam TET 2022 Information Brochure.
- Candidates have to enter personal information, qualification details, address, etc. in the application form.
- Ensure all the information provided in the application form are correct and based on fact.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Make a payment of the requisite application fee to complete the application form.
- Submit the application form after completing all the steps and take the printout of the same future reference.
Application Fee
The candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee in order to complete the Assam TET Application Form. Registration fee details are as below:
- General category applicants have to pay Rs.325/- as a registration fee.
- Reserved category candidates need to pay Rs.300/- only.
- Payment can be done through online modes such as net banking, credit/debit card etc.
- The application fee once paid will not be refunded later in any case. Hence before applying for the exam, go through all the instructions.
Exam Pattern
The candidates should go through the prescribed exam pattern for preparation of the exam. Check the following information with regard to the Assam TET exam pattern:
- There will be two separate papers for both Class 1 to class 5th teacher and class 6th to 8th teacher.
- The entrance test will be held through offline mode i.e. Pen and paper-based tests.
- The question paper will consist of 150 questions.
- All the questions will be objective type in nature.
- 1 mark will be granted for every correct answer.
- The question paper will be available in 5 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bodo, and Bengali.
Assam TET 2022 Admit Card
The competent authority will issue admit card to the eligible candidates. Assam TET admit card will be available online on the official website. Candidates by entering the registration number and date can download the admit card from the website. It is also recommended that if the candidate found any mistake in the admit card, then report the same to the competent authority within the stipulated time frame.
Download the same and take a printout of the admit card. Candidates must carry admit card on the day of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam without having a valid admit card or hall ticket. Hence, must follow all the instructions as prescribed by the competent authority.
Assam TET 2022 Result
The Assam TET result will be declared after the successful conduct of the entrance test. General, it is declared within one month after the date of the exam. Result will be announced through online mode. Candidates can check their result on the official website. Those who will qualify the test can go further process. Candidates will be granted a certificate of eligibility which will be required for further teaching jobs.
