UPSEE 2018 exam dates have been released now. The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is an entrance test for admission in various UG & PG courses in different disciplines at various technical colleges/institutions which are affiliated to AKTU. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University which is also known as AKTU is the exam conducting authority for UPSEE. Aspirants who are seeking admission in any technical course at the colleges affiliated to AKTU, should apply as per the schedule.  On the basis of UPSEE score, candidates can get admission in the desired course. UPSEE 2018 NotificationExam Dates Announced

Latest: As per the information available, UPSEE 2018 exam dates have been announced and the same is scheduled on 15th, 21st and 22nd April 2018.

The competent authority has made it clear that from the year 2018, Aadhar card is essential for applying to UPSEE exam.  

Courses offered 

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) conducts entrance test to regulates admission to 1st year courses in different streams like engineering, architecture, management, hotel management & catering technology, fine arts, fashion & apparel design. In addition to these courses, the University also offers lateral entry in different UG programmes including engineering, pharmacy and computer applications. You can check the information below:

UPSEE 2018 Important Dates

UPSEE 2018 Application Form: Guidelines

  • All the candidate who found themselves eligible to appear in the UPSEE 2018 examination can fill the application form through online mode only.
  • The online application form will be available in the month of February, 2018.
  • Candidate have to upload recent passport size photograph and signature in JPEG format with requisite size.
  • After final submission of the application, there is no need to send hard copy of application form to the AKTU/UPTU office.
  • Candidate must have retain a printout of application form for future reference.
  • Candidate should have valid e-mail ID and mobile number.

Application fee

Applicants have to pay prescribed examination fee for final submission of application form of UPSEE 2018. The requisite fee is:

  • For Male/Transgender candidate (General/OBC): Rs. 1000/-
  • For Female/PH/SC/ST candidates:                       Rs. 500/-

UPSEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before filling up the application form for UPSEE 2018. The eligibility criteria are:

For admission in 1st year programme of AKTU/UPTU

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from UP board or any other recognized board/university.
  • He/she must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject and one optional subject in Chemistry/Bio-technology/Biology/technical vocational subject.
  • Candidate must have secured 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidate) in aggregate without grace.
2.    B. Tech.(Bio-Tech.)
  • Candidate who are eligible for B. Tech. are also eligible for B. Tech. (Biotechnology). Compulsory subjects are Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
3.    B. Pharm.
  • Same as B. Tech.
4.    B. Arch.
  • 10+2 or its equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with one optional subject in Chemistry/Computer Sciences/Biology/Engineering Drawing/ Technical Vocational.
  • Must have secured 50% minimum marks in aggregate without grace.
5.    B. Tech. (Agri. Engineering)
  • Same as B. Tech.
6.    MBA
  • Candidate must have passed three years bachelors degree course from any recognized university securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
7.    MCA
  • Same as MBA but candidate must have mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from UP board or any other recognized board/university.
  • Candidate must have secured 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidate) in aggregate.
For admission in 2nd year programme of AKTU/UPTU (Lateral Entry)

  • BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology/Computer Science)
  • Must have secured 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in qualifying exam. Candidate should have mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level.

UPSEE Exam Pattern 2018

Candidate who are going to appear in the UPSEE 2018 examination, here are the details regarding UPSEE examination pattern:

Important points:

  • AKTU/UPTU will conduct 12 papers for UPSEE 2018.
  • All the questions will be objective type question except Drawing Aptitude.
  • Paper 1 to Paper 4 will be OMR based paper.
  • Paper 5 to Paper 12 will be computer based test.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect response.
  • For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.

UPSEE 2018 Syllabus

Candidate appearing in the AKTU exam must go through the syllabus prescribed for UPSEE 2018. Syllabus is differs from paper to paper. For detailed syllabus, candidate need to go through the information brochure.

UPSEE Admit Card 2018

After scrutinizing the UPSEE 2018 application form, successful candidate will be able get admit card. The admit card can be downloaded in the month of April, 2018 by accessing the official website of the AKTU. Admit card will contain the information like candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and centre. To enter in the examination hall, one should keep along the admit card. Without admit card, entry is barred in the examination centre.

UPSEE Result

All the candidates who appeared in the UPSEE 2018, will get the result most probably in the 4th week of May, 2018. The result will be uploaded in the official website. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates and separate list will be prepared for individual subject. Candidate have to check the result at web portal only. Result will not be sent to the individual by post.

UPSEE Counselling 2018

To get admission in any course, successful candidate of UPSEE 2018, have to appear in the counselling process. The notification in this regard, will be issued by the competent authority at appropriate time. Final seat allotment will be done on the basis of rank secured in the entrance exam. Candidate must attend counselling otherwise it is not possible to get admission in any course.
