SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

Part-I Registration

In Part-I registration, applicants have to follow some important steps which are as under:

• First of all visit the official website of the SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/.
• Now go for SSC CGL online application and click on concerned Apply link.
• The registration link will open where the applicant needs to click on ‘New Registration’ button.
• Provide your name, parent’s name, date of birth, e-mail ID and mobile number.
• Click on ‘Register’ button after providing these details.
• Fill category, correspondence address and Aadhar card number in the given field.
• On successful registration, the candidate will receive Registration ID for SSC CGL 2021.
• Now login with Registration ID, Date of Birth and Password for filling up further part of the application form.
• Upload your recently taken photograph and signature as per following information:
  • Photograph:  Candidate’s photograph should be clean with a white or light coloured background with JPG format. Size of the photograph should be within 4 KB to 12 KB. Resolution of the image should be 100×200 pixels.
  • Signature: Candidate’s signature must be in black or blue ink on the white paper sheet. The image should be in JPG format with a size of 1 KB to 12 KB and dimension should be 140×60.

Part-II Filling up of CGL Application Form

After completing Part-I registration, candidates should go through following steps to complete the application process:

• Login with registration ID and Password.
• After login, the candidate should fill the remaining part of the application form.
• Fill your academic qualification details carefully in the form.
• See the preview of the application form, check all the details carefully.
• Applicants can modify/correct any entry if there is any error before click on the final submit button.
• Now click on ‘Final Submit’ button to submit SSC CGL 2021 application form.
• Take a printout of the application form for reference purpose.

SSC CGL Application Fee

Payment of the application fee is an essential part to submit the application form. The SSC CGL application fee is Rs. 100/- which can be paid either through online or offline mode (Bank Challan). There is an exemption in application fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen and all women candidates.

• Candidates are recommended don’t wait for the last date to submit the application form.
• Candidates must verify their eligibility to appear in the SSC CGL exam. Don’t apply if you are not meeting prescribed eligibility criteria.

• Candidates must maintain a valid e-mail ID and mobile number for communication purpose.
