Nationality
  • Candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with an intention to settle here permanently.
  • Indian origin candidates who are migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries like Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with an intention to settle here permanently.
Age Limit
  • Candidate’s age should be within 21 to 30 years as on 1st April 2020.
  • It means the candidate’s date of birth should fall within 02.04.1990 to 01.04.1999.
  • There is relaxation in age for reserved category candidates as per the rules.

-SC/ST candidates   – 5 years

-OBC candidates      – 3 years

-PWD (General)       – 10 years

-PWD (SC/ST)         –  15 years

-OBC PWD               – 13 years

Educational Qualifications
  • Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university/institute.
  • Candidates appearing in final year/semester can also apply subject to the condition that they should qualify the exam.
Number of Attempts
  • A candidate can appear a maximum 4 number of times in SBI PO exam in case of General category while other candidates can appear 7 number of times.
  • However, there are no restrictions for SC/ST candidates.
