Eligibility Criteria

The course-wise eligibility criteria for AMU admission 2020 is detailed below:

1.	B. Tech./ B.Arch.	Candidates have to complete 10+2 or its equivalent exam from any recognized board. They must have obtained at least 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam. He/she should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the qualifying exam. Diploma holders in engineering with 50% marks secured will also be eligible to apply for both courses.
2.	B.Sc. / B.Com (Hons.)	Candidates should have completed 12th or equivalent exam with 55% marks aggregate. He/she should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English subjects in the qualifying exam.
3.	B.Ed.	Candidates having graduation degree with at least 50% marks aggregate will be eligible.
4.	B.A. LL.B.	12th or equivalent exam passed with 50% marks aggregate. The age of the candidates should not be less than 22 years as on 1st July 2020.
5.	MBA/PG Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance	Candidates having Bachelor degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
6.	Diploma in Engineering	One who have completed 12th or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks aggregate. He/she should have Mathematics, English, and Science in the qualifying exam.
7.	M.Sc. (Biotech.)	A graduate with Agriculture, Biological Science, Veterinary Science and Physical Science or Chemistry. Candidates having MBBS/B. Pharma./B. Tech. degree with minimum 55% marks.

AMU Admission 2020 Application Form

The Aligarh Muslim University will invite separate application form for each course.
The application form will be available online at official website of the university.
Candidates can submit application form via both modes i.e. online as well as offline mode.
For offline mode, candidates have to download the application form from the website and fill that form completely and send it to the university.
The application form will be available from January/February 2020 onward.
Candidates should fill all the details carefully and correctly.
The application fee is necessary to pay while submitting an application form.
The applicants should take the printout of the application form and send it to the concerned authority with all pre-requisites.

AMU Admission 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam will be held offline i.e. Pen & Paper Based.
Questions paper will contain objective type questions.
The number of questions may vary course to course.
Each entrance test will contain different syllabus as per the concerned subject.
The language of the question paper will be English.
Each question will carry 1 mark.
Negative marking will be applicable in most of the paper.
Duration of some paper will be 2.00 hour and some will be 3.00 hours.

AMU Syllabus 2020

AMU admission 2020 exam syllabus will be the different course to course. Each question paper will contain the subject of the concerned course. Candidates have to prepare according to respective subject. Mostly, the syllabus will include General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English Comprehension, Reasoning and concerned subject.

AMU Admit Card 2020

The Aligarh Muslim University will issue the admit card through online mode.
Candidates can download the same from the official website of the university.
Admit card will consist of crucial information like name, roll number, exam date and exam centre etc.
Without having admit card, no one can enter into the examination centre.

AMU 2020 Result

The result for AMU admission 2020 will be published on official website of the university.
The result will be available probably in the month of May/June 2020.

AMU Counselling 2020

The university will invite candidates shortlisted on the basis their performance in the written exam. Candidates must attend counselling process otherwise they will not be considered for admission. Final seal allotment will be done on the basis of candidate’s overall performance in written test, the number of seats available in the respective course and subject to verification of original documents.
